Basically, you have to preserve LB3 through the entirety of the Dragonsong War Phase, including the Eyes after you beat Nidhogg, then use a Tank LB3 to make it so you can heal Haurchefant to full in order for him to survive the cast from Charibert.

Then you have to kill the spear before it finishes casting Pierce. If you don't? Then back to Thordan you go.

AST has a lot of power but boy does it suffer from insane button bloat. Draw and Play being on different buttons is just baffling.

Hmm, I'm not sure how I feel about this job design of having all the big raid buffs in the same 2 minute alignment. I understand why the devs are trying to make it all align to make things less complicated for people in fights, but it also kinda feels off. At its core, it puts a lot of pressure on encounter design to not have obvious "USE BUFFS HERE" lulls inbetween mechanics to keep things interesting.

After taking a brief sabbatical to play Elden Ring, I hopped back into P4S PF and made it to Curtain Call.

So Tiche is an absolutely busted summon. She'll just randomly chunk a boss for a good portion of their health and darts around them like crazy, rarely getting hit.

Got the Little Ladies Day event done for the crown. The bonus scenes afterwards seem pretty fun.

Patch notes for 6.08 are out. Big buffs to PLD, NIN, DRG, DNC, SAM, and BLM. Few minor buffs for a few other jobs.

I got to Belome Bursts my first day of trying out P4S. I dunno if I was imagining things, but it felt like you had a damn eternity after the Sword/Cape strike to resolve the final Pinax mechanic. Was that just me?

Whee got my P3S kill. I played like absolute dogshit though, so room to improve.

Holminster is quite the tall order for unprepared tanks and healers.

And P2S down in PF as well. Pretty fun fight, think that'll be more enjoyable in reclears than E10S was.

For as beloved as she is, Y'shtola has a shockingly low amount of actual character development. You put her character arc next to Thancred and Urianger and it's not even a contest how under developed she is.

The healer role quest ironically enough needed Lyse. Arenvald and Raubahn weren't quite the emotional foils Fordola needed for the closure that role quest was going for.

Doubly so after that Tales from the Twilight short story that revealed that Fordola was the girl Yda died protecting.

And beat the second EX trial as well. My PF prog had a handful of tanks that had no idea how to do adds phase, which was an experience

Beat Zodiark EX today. Pretty fun, though hilariously simple. As long as one person knows where to go, you can slap a triangle marker on them and play follow the leader to win.

Yeah, the Role Quests are more character epilogues/closures. They try to show the global affect of the Final Days, but eh. Healer Role Quest was basically giving Fordola closure.

The only thing I'm annoyed with for Role Quests is that they really should have had some voiced scenes.
